At the moment we have a resident immature male Satin BB in our backyard (there are various shrubs in the neighbourhood with fruit, including an early Prunus).

Most of the time he just burbles and wheezes on in a lazy way. He doesn't seem to do much mimicry, but you can easily hear his double syrinx at work (some birds have double syringes so they can make two sounds at once!). It's just delightful to be sitting out in the yard talking and then, seemingly prompted by something you said, have the BB make a sudden, loud, derisive wheeze.
