Below are links to two videos of Australian Little Bittern behaviour taken today at Jerrabomberra Wetlands. In the foraging video (first one), you can hear Roger Williams take the picture he sent through to the chatline of the bird with its neck extended. The other video shows the different response to a Black Swan and several Dusky Moorhens. Its interesting that it adopts the vertical pose when the Black Swan approaches even though it is in the open.
