Kestrel with 3 eggs and a partner keeping her in food in plant box outside an office window in Canberra. (secure facility)

From Currawang: after 6 inches! of snow on Thursday night, our previously very noisy bird song surrounds are very, very quiet.  Trees, branches of trees and shrubs split and fallen from the weight of snow all around us.  Not sure yet if any nests have survived.
