Some stats for the Spotted Harrier from the COG
database and also merged with data from Eremaea. The table below splits the data
by ACT and COG AOI for each bird year (ie year starting 1 July) from
1981. The records in the COG database have been matched to those in Eremaea to
avoid double counting. In terms of the number of records, 2011 is unusual and
2012 is shaping up to be similar.
Attached are graphs of reporting rate (COG
data only) and the number of records. The one page summary for the COG data
