I counted at least 4 Masked Woodswallows over Florey this afternoon while I was out trying to spot the Western Gerygone that was calling so persistently from the trees in the park (still in my GBS site though):-) . There may well have been more woodswallows, as some were too high to see with the naked eye. Probably the same group that Nicki saw over Cook.

And at least 25 high over Rivett at 16:45 this afternoon, heading in a NE direction. Could be seen but not able to identify to species level without binos.

And I just heard some over my house in Kambah, 10 minutes ago. Too high to be seen though. So I'll try again.

Yesterday morning I also recorded a small flock of Masked Woodswallows circling low over a property south of Williamsdale, while doing a bird survey for ANU.
cheers
