You are invited to provide comment to assist the Threatened Species Scientific Committee (the Committee) with its assessment of "Aggressive exclusion of birds from potential woodland and forest habitat by over-abundant Noisy Miners Manorina melanocephala" for listing as a Key Threatening Process under the EPBC Act.

The Committee welcomes the views of experts, stakeholders and the general public on nominations to further inform its nomination assessment process.

Responses to this consultation will be provided in full to the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities.

The public comment period closes on 12 October 2012.
