I photographed this Brown Falcon yesterday near Parkwood. It has a yellow cere and yellow eye rings instead of grey. Pizzey is the only field guide I have that indicates that this occurs in some birds. It took off under attack by a Black-shouldered Kite which obviously wanted its perch back as it returned after seeing the falcon off.  In my surprise at the attack, I did not notice if the legs were yellow as well.
