A male Darter was perched on a log drying its wings at the first large
dam just inside the main entrance to Mulligan's Flat Sanctuary. I have
not observed this species at Mulligan's Flat previously. Additionally,
there was a male Rose Robin in a mixed-species feeding flock at COG Bird
Walk marker post #5. This is also the first time I have obseverved this
species at Mulligan's Flat. A remarkable day since I have been visiting
this area regularly for 25 years.
