Steve,
many thanks for this 'overview'' and also earlier for a
similar map for the Banded Lapwing. I greatly appreciate it that you direct
attention to COG's wider AOI and not just the ACT.

COG AOI?
The attached map may help if you are looking to
fill some of the gaps in the COG database. It's a map of the location of all the datasheets(50037) in the COG
database (does not include GBS sites). While some
areas have plenty of records, there are still many areas with very few records,
some not that far from the city.
Even though each dot is small, it
still covers an area 600-700m in diameter. I randomly selected July 2009 to
the present to represent the recent period (red dots).
I have tried to keep this map near the COG limit
for attachments but have had to reduce the quality to achieve this. If anyone
would like a slightly better quality version (159k), let me know.
Happy planning.
Steve
