About a dozen straw-necked ibis apparently roosted overnight on CB near the old zoo.  They were seen just before sunrise, most of them still asleep.  The sulphur-crested cockies were still gathering for the general meeting they hold every morning just inside the Narrabundah Lane gates.  I had wanted to get a pretty shot of the SCCs with the amber first rays of sunlight on their white feathers.  Ha Ha!  No sun!
