As I was leaving Jerra Wetlands today, a Spotted Harrier flew past but I was not quick enough to get a photo. As I drove off cursing how slow I am, it was sitting on a post beside the road near the old education centre. I pulled up beside it and was shocked that it stayed on the post. 140+ photos later it was still hanging around trying to eat a dead rabbit.

I will send a link through to the full size photos when I put them up.

Other species seen included a Nankeen Night Heron, a Collared Sparrowhawk and a Pelican.
