Yesterday we were bird watching at the Causeway end of Jerrabomberra Wetlands.  
On a sand bank in the river, we saw a large water rat, which seemed to be 
pursuing 3 black fronted dotterels for several minutes.  It then changed its 
mind and took to the water, leaving the dotterels in peace

Not many birds of interest, but we did see a scarlet robin
