Hi all,

For the last 3 days a Masked Lapwing has been sitting on a nest in the roundabout at the intersection of Baldwin and William Slim Drives, Giralang. The birds have nested on this roundabout for at least the last four years. The nest this year is about 1.5 metres “south” of previous years attempts. I have a horrible feeling that they never actually manage to raise any young as they have to cross a very busy road to get to “safety”.
