A male common bronze wing flew onto our clothesline yesterday morning carrying a piece of grass. It then disappeared into a nearby calistemon. A closer look showed a female already in the bush and after both sat there for a while looking bemused they left. I'll monitor the site to see if they were serious or just practising.
