Off-topic - sick possum

For the last day and a half, a possum has been living/sleeping outside our back door.  It seems to have trouble moving but we can't tell whether it's injured or just unwell. It's eaten a little bit of apple but not much.

 

We've tried ringing the wildlife carers number in the phone book but they haven't returned our call.

 

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
