With variable weather not conducive to great photography (and stuck with a crook back), I've spent some time this weekend creating some "Gouldian-style" images from earlier photographs to give to a friend who'd like to frame a few images. The technique involves computer generation of a more artistic background from the original photo, then carefully overlaying the original photographic image of the subject species. Here's a few results for anyone that's interested ...
