Kellys Swamp logs

Some of you may have noticed some new logs and posts that have been put into Kellys Swamp recently. To see how they were being used I put up some sensor cameras. An easy way to monitor what is going on 24 hours a day. The cameras were out for 5 days. I have attached 3 photos, but one of the 3 cameras took 465 photos. No surprises on what was seen and which species were using which type of structure. The interesting thing was how busy the logs were at night - most photos from the 'log' camera were at night. Also had a photo of a water rat at night. The bright lights in the night image are from the business park. The day photo of the logs has we think 5 species of duck - wood duck, grey teal, black duck, shoveler and hardhead.
