Floating debris, ie trees, are being removed from the Molonglo Reach area between Lake Burley Griffin and the water ski area. This is being done to reduce the amount of mobile debris that could be washed into the lake in another big rain event. There will be no impact on the darter and cormorant nesting habitat.
