Hi All. I just spent some time at the windbreak opposite Jarramlee pond, Dunlop, and found a large number of fairy wrens, brown and yellow-rumped thornbills, golden whistler (juv.), red-browed finches, scarlet robin (M) and a grey fantail. The most exciting sighting was of 4 golden headed cistacolas and 5 stubble quails. Unfortunately, the boobook owl I saw there once, had moved on. Previously, I wondered through the wooded gum forest at Ginninderra Creek behind Kippax, and saw many brown thornbills, a few weebills, what I think may have been some striated thornbills and two golden whistlers (M & F).
