Last year when we were watching the kestrels nest, at Callum Brae, we observed 
a grey butcher bird in the vicinity of that nest, probably in October.  Perhaps 
it was interested in the mice that the kestrel sometimes stashed away.  The GB 
had a nest in that area.  We saw it feeding 2 young.  Also in that vicinity 
there were very many noisy miners nesting
