During a walk this morning at Mulligan's Flat, we saw this fellow ... and a bit of searching on the web suggests its a male mouse spider (see for example http://www.anoble.com.au/Spiders/SpiderID.htm)

I've once before seen the same species on Mt. Ainslie - but I wondered if anyone knows whether they're common in the ACT? Information suggests that they have a relatively nasty bite.
