Spent four days at Croajingalong with great weather and
lots of birds! (water and land). A number of lyrebirds on various walks and a
few oyster catches at Wingham, as well as Wonga pigeons and some other small
birds which twitted among your feet at the camp site. Lots of banksias in
flowers as well as other health plants such as epacris, acacia and
cassinia. Easy to grab a camp spot now, so go if you
can. Can anyone identify the two latter birds with the yellow chest? They acted
like tree creepers straddling tree stumps but very fidgety and in pairs seeking
food on the ground left by campers. Terrible photos but they were very
fast.
