Not uncommon sight in Wanniassa, but certainly not yet a daily occurrence.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Spotted turtle-dove.

Hi All.

While doing some bird watching around the Dunlop Ponds yesterday, I found a spotted turtle-dove standing on a roof.  I had never heard of them at that point, and was unable to find them on the COG website.  I eventually found them in one of my books.

As it was not on the COG website, and not in the ACT field guide either, I was wondering if I should fill out a report, or something similar, as it may be an unusual sighting.

Regards, Matthew.
