Further to Denis’s posting, if any COG members are heading down the coast over Easter, it would be worth keeping an eye out for Swift Parrots. Last Thursday a flock of 8 Swifties shot over me, their long red undertail coverts gleaming in the afternoon sun, along the electricity easement running west from George Bass Drive, just south of Broulee. There is profuse flowering of many euc species for them – and for any honeyeaters to come. b
