I'd heard (from some of you) that Rainbow Lorikeets are establishing at Callum Brae, but I was a bit surprised this morning to see two pairs at hollows, plus more heard in different places; the flowering boxes are doubtless contributing. A quick search doesn't suggest autumn breeding in SEA, but the rules are changing...

Also (following a couple of interesting recent southside reports here) a wedgie soaring low over the East O'Malley mansions, presumably watching for an unwary chihuahua; no luck while I was watching.
