Bob

I am afraid that your time in  Tassie and the South Coast has led your geography down a blind alley wrt to the subspecies of blind mullet (Mugil stultus) likely to be exploring Kellys Swamp.

This is not the highly desirable Green ssp (M. s. viridatum) from Wamboin, and indeed Carwoola, but the aggressive and strongly pro-development species that lurks in Jerrabomberra (M, s, giovannidomenicobarilaro) and will swim in down the creek.

Hi !
Elizabeth, I feel that should allay your fears that sewage from (heaven forbid) Queanbeyan is entering our beloved Kelly's.  No no, if any sewage should enter it will be the much preferred and far far superior type of "green" turd from Womboin and possibly along with some really super fit specimens from Duntroon . I hope this has been some help to alleviate some of your fears and put some cheer in your heart on these miserable rainy days

Interesting about Lake George beginning to fill.  What about Kelly's? Are they letting water in?  Hope not if sewage is coming from Queanbeyan.  All the fish might get washed away. I was going to go there to see for myself but decided to stay home as it was reported that traffic was very heavy because of closures of various roads
