I have seen a lot of bird pox but only affecting white-winged choughs, magpies and currawongs. The bulbous foot lesion on the foot of the robin looks to me like the robin has thread around the foot and it has become infected, not necessarily pox. The mistletoe bird eye ring is a mystery to me. I don't think it is pox because I have never heard of it in these small birds. Could it be that it is an older bird?
