Campbell Park is still (!) closed beyond the horsegates. The date for re-opening full access has slid for a third time (or is it fourth time?) and the signs now suggest it will be 24th February. Hopefully none of the many kangaroos bounding through the bush will tread on landmines in the meantime! :(

A short visit there this morning didn't reveal very much activity - 26 species in all. Perhaps the fairly cool and bleak weather conspired against us. We had hoped we might encounter the rumoured Bush Bronzewing, but ran into only a Common Bronzewing ...
