Dear all, esp Philip and Geoffrey,

At an age when I thought I may be sitting around watching wrens bob about all day, I am still teaching little children.  They are currently studying a science unit entitled, 'Feathers, Fur or Leaves', and they and their families are bringing in what they find in different places.  I hope you can bear with me if on occasion there are feathers requiring expert response.  Based on the lovely photos posted on the chatline: Geoffrey Dabb's Acme Peecok skool, and more recently, an untitled family photo, could this be a peacock feather?

In gratitude,
Jude Hopwood.
