This is not dramatic but further evidence of their increasing establishment. I have had at least one all blue Satin Bowerbird in my garden area and the broader GBS area continuously through this summer. It is quite bold, although favours one neighbour's very overgrown garden. I discovered this week it likes to eat cooked white rice. It was years of living here before I had my first single SBB at home in Kambah, then only some through winter, then many throughout winter, and until this year all blue birds were only occasional and mostly in winter.
