Our next outing is to Ian Anderson's property at 156 Hutchinson Place, Burra.  

Ian has suggested that some car-pooling could be possible at his Canberra address, 12 Wylly Place,
Hughes, a quiet double cul-de-sac where cars could be
left during the day.  Alternatively people could pool in Queanbeyan at Spotlight (opposite the end of Yass Road).  I suggest meeting at those venues at 8:15 should get us t Burra by 9:00.

Ian has provided the following directions for folk coming from Canberra.  "Take the Monaro Highway to
Williamsdale and just before the service station there take the left hand
turn to Burra.  Continue along this road, most of which is dirt, until you
enter the Burra Valley and come to the bitumen.  At this point there is a
road to the right called Badgery Road, also bitumen.  Turn into Badgery
Road and take the first turn to the right, which is signposted Hutchinson
Place.  This is my street.  My place, No.156, is near the top of the
cul-de-sac.  The number is on the fence and there is a Grassy Box Woodland
metal plaque on the gate."  He suggests park in the street and walk up the track to the cottage.

If coming through Queanbeyan take Old Cooma Road (towards Googong) and after about 10km turn left on to Burra Rd.  Proceed down that for about 12km and turn right on to Williamsdale Rd,. Afetr about 2km turn left on to Badgery Rd and after another 800m take the first right.
