I’ve just discovered these recordings that might be of interest.  Andrew sells compilation albums of various beautifully recorded audio ‘scenes’.

Under Listening Earth blog audios is a Fairywren call slowed down to ‘comprehensible’ speed – fascinating.

Under Album Feature - 'Tall Forest' , then Boobook Owls and Yellow-bellied Gliders from 'Tall Forest' album is the wake-up call of a Boobook and some Yellow-bellied glider calls and sounds.

Australia's 'Red' Robins show the Evolution of Birdsong – I don’t know about the evolution bit, but the comparison of Rose, Flame, Scarlet and Red-capped in the one track is interesting.

As you’ll see, many other items of interest there, including plenty of international birds and animals that might be relevant to travellers. Australian bush summer dawn chorus, frogs, Chattering song of a Noisy Friarbird (great!);  Soundwalk with Andrew in the Australian Bush (page two of second link above) is a recording of Andrew in SE Aust bush in Autumn, starts out with Little Lorikeets, I enjoy his enthusiasm and info.
