Hi Benj

I think the lack of trips is because of some the unfavourable tides during these days.  But in the near future they're considering doing short bird walks in the surrounding bushland in the above headland when these days do occur to avoid any disappointments when people turn up to do the fossil walk.

Ps- and possibly along with some botanist minded people to impart some of their knowledge also in the group

If you are down the coast over the holidays I strongly recommend you go on the-
gondwanacoastfossilwalk.com.au
Ulladulla's Gondwana Coast Fossil Walks take place around the harbour in Ulladulla each summer. Finding geological wonders that adults and kids both find amazing. Fossil displays at Ulladulla Harbour.
.
It is one of the best ecotourism outings on the south coast. You will learn about the history of the region's geology, biodiversity and climate. Unfortunately I notice that there are few trips next week. But the week after, ie early January, has quite a few. And no, I have nothing to gain from this plug, I just think it is a great initiative.
