a new bird for me but out of district. Near Cudal on Boree Creek opposite new $7million Bridge on Forbes Road A clearly grey barred  raptor was perched high on dead casurina tree allowing distant photo. Through binoculars I could see yellow cere but not red eyes as described in Slater field guide. I am  90% sure it was a young male. Can anyone help in identification. Happy Xmas Terry Bell
