I thought members might like to see a few photos from Lord Howe Island (I was there last week for my honeymoon - we had a great time). We weren’t able to get to Balls Pyramid due to weather conditions, but other than that, we walked to most of the Island. There were a few vagrant  visitors ( Australian Wood Duck, Lesser Sand Plover and Common Greenshank)
The birds in the photos are: a White tern and a White Tern chick, the Lord Howe Woodhen, the Red-Tailed Tropicbird and the Pacific Golden Plover
