Greetings.

1. A friend, who is a good birder, reports seeing what he is sure was aLittle Bittern in flight at Wamboin a couple of weeks ago. I don'trecall any other reports from the Canberra region this season. It mightbe worth checking out various likely sites.

2. Another friend knows someone who is a very skilled birder who had anAustralian Painted Snipe somewhere in Tuggeranong recently. I'verequested details.
