Beautiful weather for the quarterly survey this morning.
Highlights were 3 white-winged trillers, 4 black-shouldered kites (two
immatures and two adults, the former causing great consternation among
the corellas and cockatoos), a group of seven rainbow lorikeets, a
couple of leaden flycatchers, the little/long-billed corella pair
sitting quietly in one of the survey sites, gang-gangs calling, and no
sign of the brown goshawks.
46 species in total, 36 of them in survey sites.
