For anyone who may be interested.

 

The 2011 Priority Assessment List has now been determined and the following two items of interest to COG will now be assessed by the Federal Threatened Species Scientific Committee to advise the Commonwealth Government whether they are eligible for listing under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

 

 

 

Key threatening processes

 

Aggressive exclusion of birds from potential woodland and forest habitat by overabundant noisy miners Manorina melanocepla

 

 

Species

 

 

Rostratula australis (Australian painted snipe)
