The little sculpture exhibition that opened yesterday in the gallery at Canberra Grammar School includes an evocative piece titled “The Birdwatcher”.  One can almost imagine which local birdwatcher this might be:  long legs, very keen, owns both binoculars and a field guide.  The piece, I notice, has been sold already.  Probably to a non-birdwatching sculpture-collector.  My own impression, below, uses a teensy amount of licence to add atmosphere to the scene.  So much to see and do here in Canberra.
