A bird (there may be 2) was seen by Maurits, Prue and myself at about 1430; was on the nearest big island to Fulica Hide, low in willows over the water, we saw it dive into the water at one stage. It appeared and reappeared maybe 4 times before vanishing, after a young night heron flapped over from another smaller island and landed near it. Some persistence may be required, we were there for over an hour and a half before we saw it.

Cheers

Steve
