I'd never heard them referred to as an 'African Crested Stork' before; my Roberts Birds of Southern Africa calls them Grey Crowned Cranes (Balearica regulorum). Google has many references however to ACS, mostly to Flickr sites and stock images. Always good to see birds of Africa though!
