Finally, a couple of mornings spent at Binya State Forest, the mistletoe-rich acacias being a prime venue for the Painted Honeyeaters.  They were back again  -  at least the males were, calling from high vantage points, generally the top of a dead callitris.  All the other usual stuff, including splendid and variegated fairy-wrens, nesting in close proximity to one another.
