I don't know if anyone has already reported it, but I have noticed in the last few weeks, while walking the
dog, a flock of about 12 male and female superb parrots. They are usually flying around between 7am
and 9am and then 5.30pm to about 7pm. Yesterday I spotted 6 wonderful males in a tree on my morning
walk. They tend to lurk between the trees on the border of the enclosed hockey field and the trees on the
edge of the open ovals in Turon Place, Kaleen - the entry to the sporting ovals. I know they are on the threatened
species list but this flock looked extremely healthy.
