Not realising it was unusual, I didn't report my sighting of coots
breeding last year
Here are photos taken on the 7th Nov 2010 at Dunlop Ponds, of a
pair with 9 young.

Daryl reports having seen a smaller clutch on Fassifern Pond at about
the same time.
