You got further than I did. Having prepared everything for a dawn start,
I woke during the early hours with a thumb throbbing with an abscess.
After various medical adventures, mainly involving waiting, and some
excellent treatment at the Phillip Clinic, I was fairly well hors de as
far as bush work was concerned. However, in the spirit of the blitz, I
did a few sites in and around the ACT's medical infrastructure. I offer
the off-topic observation that shirts made for right hand button doing
and undoing work badly with left thumbs.
I am hoping for a better go tomorrow!

Dirt roads in the Brindabellas are slippery and dangerous. I took a wrong turn
coming down from Smoker's Flat road, went left instead of right at junction.
This road was very, very muddy, and I could not turn around. Finally I had to
stop and seek help. I walked to Corin Forest, where there was a helpful man.
We called the NRMA, They turned up quite quickly and drove me back to where I
had left the car. The NRMA man then drove my car through 2 bad puddles and I
was out of trouble.
There are several things that I should, or shouldn't have done. I know.
More kangaroos than usual were on that road.
I did 3x 20 minute counts--nothing interesting. Not a good morning
