Looks like a Yellow Thornbill to me Margaret.

They seem to be more common on the south coast than up here but keep an eye out for them around the Jerrabomberra Wetlands.

I have this down as a thornbill, possibly a yellow thornbill, but I have never seen one before.  Shot at Pambula yesterday in thick bushes near a swamp.  Would appreciate comment from others.  The light was terrible as it was about to rain.
