A male this morning on a dam wall at the edge of a busy construction
site at Harrison, Gungahlin. I note this in the context of Jack
Holland's prediction in the most recent GG that there will be "few if
any" of BS or Bushlarks this season; however I hasten to point out that
one sighting in no way contradicts his premise.
In a similar vein, a small flock of woodswallows overhead in Duffy
yesterday; the light was bad and by the time I got outside in response
to the calls I was only able to identify one Masked, but it's a fair bet
that White-browed were involved as well.
cheers
Ian
