It seems to me to be miracle that a fox has not taken the painted snipe.  I am 
sure that they take many of the other birds at Kelly's.  A week or two ago, a 
fox killed my neighbours 4 large hens, housed in what was thought to be a 
secure chook yard.  They kill the birds, more than they can possibly eat.  We 
live in Wells Gardens, Griffith.  At Kelly's it must be very easy to kill off a 
few purple swamp hens and other water birds, often

This fox should be got rid of.  What is being done to eradicate the foxes 
there?    Most likely he/she has a fmily to feed
