1. The Birdline ACT moderators have made a small but important change to Birdline ACT. Now, all sightings reported to Birdline will be published and they will be posted to the "ALL REPORTS" page, while the "HIGHLIGHTS" page will be reserved for rare and unusual birds. The moderators acknowledge that some people have not posted sightings, in the belief that Birdline ACT was only for rare and usual birds. Be assured it is a repository for all ACT bird sightings and all records will go into the COG database via Birds Australia.

2. Birdline can be followed via the web, twitter and RSS:

3. Did you know that you can receive a weekly summary from Eremaea and that you can also be alerted when an individual species is reported? Just go to  http://www.eremaea.com/MyNotifications.aspx and then click Species Notifications. Check the species for which you want to be alerted.

4. Since its establishment in February, 305 sightings have been made to Birdline ACT. Thank you for the support.

Should you have any queries, please contact the moderators on m("gmail.com","Birdlineact");">

Regards
Frank & Alastair
