Visited lunch time today. Highlight at Kellys was a single Intermediate Egret. A Great Egret flew in after a while and attacked the Intermediate which fled to the southern end of the swamp. Later the 2 were feeding quite peacefully within a few metres of each other. Painted Snipe didn’t show.

At sewage ponds, no sign of yesterdays RN Stint, but 3 Sharpies were still at Pond 5. A Baillon’s Crake was foraging on flattened reeds near the southeast corner of Pond 6. Brown Quail heard.

Cheers

Steve
